After completing her medical training at Saint James School of Medicine and Internal Medicine residency at HCA Healthcare, Dr. Marcelin joined Steward Medical Group as a Hospitalist. She is committed to staying at the forefront of medical knowledge and actively participate in research and quality improvement initiatives. Dr. Marcelin's contributions to the field include co-creating a "Disparities in Medicine" series to address structural racism and implicit bias in healthcare. She also led a quality improvement project focused on reducing medication errors upon hospital admission. Fluent in Haitian Creole, Dr. Marcelin is a member of both the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association, demonstrating her dedication to professional development and improving patient care. In her free time Dr. Marcelin enjoys yoga, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
