Jessica Herrera, FNP is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a uniquely multidisciplinary background that spans occupational therapy, cardiac nursing, and primary care — giving her a truly holistic lens through which she approaches patient health. She is deeply committed to treating the whole person, understanding that for older adults, well-being is shaped by far more than any single diagnosis. Her clinical training includes geriatric and adult medicine rotations where she managed complex, multi-morbidity patients in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care settings — conducting comprehensive geriatric assessments, supporting goals-of-care conversations, and coordinating across interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, seamless transitions. Her years on the Cardiac Interventional Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital further sharpened her ability to recognize and respond to acute changes in patient condition, and her foundation in occupational therapy informs her commitment to functional independence and quality of life for every patient she serves. Jessica is passionate about patient education, meeting each patient where they are and empowering them — and their families — to actively participate in their own care. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and trying out new restaurants in Boston.
