Dr. Bader is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with more than 20 years of clinical experience spanning both inpatient and outpatient settings. His career has been defined by a deep commitment to evidence-based care and a particular expertise in managing chronic conditions — including diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and hyperlipidemia — for diverse patient populations. Before joining Gather Health, Dr. Bader served as an Attending Physician with Beverly Medical Group/Atrius Health, where he cared for a panel of over 2,200 patients and was consistently recognized as a top provider for quality metrics. He was an active contributor to quality improvement work, including initiatives that reduced hospital readmission rates by 14% over two years. His earlier experience includes inpatient internal medicine at Beverly Hospital, service as Medical Director of a Cardiopulmonary Lab, and work as a hospitalist and emergency room physician. Dr. Bader completed his Internal Medicine residency at Saint Vincent Hospital/UMass and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with honors in Biology and Chemistry.
